Team Member Application

How do I become a member of a Ministry Team?
If you are a ministry team leader and wish to recruit new team members or you are a member of Solid Rock and wish to become an active member in a particular ministry, just follow the simple guidelines below.

NOTE: If you are applying to be part of a ministry team, you must complete Class 101 of our Advance Discipleship Training before your application can be considered.
  • Step 1: If you have not completed this class already, register for our next Advance Discipleship Training Class 101>>
     
  • Step 2: Complete the Team Member Application Form>>
     
  • Step 3: After completing the required fields, print and sign the form. 
     
  • Step 4: Please drop off your completed form at the church office. You will be contacted via the phone or e-mail you provided once your application has been reviewed. 

The Team Leader for the ministry you applied to will also be notified once your application has been approved.

At Solid Rock, our goal is to educate our leaders and members to work as a single unit towards the goal of reaching out and sharing the Word of God in creative ways. We have several ministries that you can join to work with others.

What is teamwork and why does it matter?
Teamwork is defined in Webster's New World Dictionary as "a joint action by a group of people, in which each person subordinates his or her individual interests and opinions to the unity and efficiency of the group."

This does not mean that the individual is no longer important; however, it does mean that effective and efficient teamwork goes beyond individual accomplishments.

The most effective teamwork is produced when all the individuals involved harmonize their contributions and work towards a common goal.
