Solid Rock keeps you on the move!
We have been making our sermons available on our website for several years...but now you don't need to be tied to a computer to listen to them anymore! If you use iTunes, Apple iPod, or other compatible MP3 player then you can easily subscribe to our Solid Rock Podcast and get the latest sermons as soon as they posted online. Now you can listen as you walk, exercise, or travel using your portable MP3 device.

How can I subscribe?
To subscribe you will need some software that supports podcasts such as iTunes or an RSS feed reader.

iTunes
To subscribe using iTunes, click on the 'Advanced' tag at top-left, and then click 'Subscribe to Podcast'. A box will appear and you should copy and paste this URL into it: http://www.solidrockcog.com/podcast.cfm.

Click 'OK' to complete the subscription process. Each show will be automatically downloaded into iTunes when it is released and can be accessed by clicking 'podcasts' in the left hand navigation bar.

RSS Feed Readers
To subscribe using an RSS feed reader, first download one from the web. A useful list of them can be found here. If you are unfamiliar with the term 'RSS' or feeds try Wikipedia's RSS page.

Most RSS feedreaders are easy to use. There is usually a button or tag in the top left of the screen that says 'Add feed'. When you click on this a box will often appear.

Just copy and paste this URL into it: http://www.solidrockcog.com/podcast.cfm and click 'OK'.

What is a podcast?
A podcast is like a radio show that you can download and listen to whenever you want. What makes a podcast different from a normal audio file hosted online is that you can subscribe so it will automatically download to your computer whenever a new file released.

I don't have an iPod.
You don't need an iPod to listen to a podcast. All you need is a computer connected to the Internet that can play audio files. If you have a portable mp3 player such as an iPod you can download the podcast file from your computer to your mp3 player so you can listen to the podcast when you are on the train, walking the dog or sitting in the garden.

Why subscribe?
It means that new sermons will download onto your computer automatically and you won't have to go and find it each week. It's free, and you can unsubscribe at any time without even supplying an email address.
