 On Wednesday, August 1st, fourteen members of Solid Rock will embark on a life changing experience to the small Central American nation of Honduras.
During this week of hard work, the team will deliver over 500 pairs of shoes (with the partnership with Samaritan's Feet International) to children and adults in the northern coast of Honduras.
Additionally, over 400 bibles will be delivered to communities and hospitals in El Progreso-Yoro and as well as communities in central Honduras such as Siguatepeque. Children in rural schools and the Betesda Feeding Program will be given school supplies and food. We will spend time in feeding programs and churches in the communities of el Progreso, Yoro.
On Monday, August 6th a school in the rural areas of El Progreso will be blessed with a new roof, new doors, painting, and ceiling fans to make a better learning environment for the many students who are underprivileged.
As participants of these missions, we want to thank Samaritan's Feet, the Iglesia Cuadrangular (in Honduras), and Solid Rock Church for all the support you have shown to raise all needed materials to deliver hope in the name of Jesus to many in Honduras. Please keep us in prayer as we embark in this journey from August 1-8.

| Wednesday, August 1 |
| Arrival at San Pedro Sula at 1:00pm: The team will have lunch at a "meet & greet" at the Iglesia Central and then check in at Hotel La Cascada at 4pm. The team will attend a church service at Iglesia Central at 7pm and then prep for day 2 at 9pm. |

| Thursday, August 2 |
| The team will travel almost 3 hours across dirt roads to distribute 100 pairs of shoes, supplies, and bibles in the community and school at Siguatepeque. |

| Friday, August 3 |
| The team will travel to Santa Barbara Village to participate in the distribution of 100 pairs of shoes, bibles, and evangelism throughout the day. |

| Saturday, August 4 |
| Cultural immersion trip to the Caribbean coast of Honduras. Evangelism opportunities in the surrounding communities. |
| |
| Sunday, August 5 |
| The team will participate in church services at the Iglesia Central Cuadrangular. The team will visit the feeding program after services and distribute food. Time permitting, they will also visit the hospital in El Progreso-Yoro. |
| |
| Monday, August 6 |
| The team will helping with painting and other remodeling projects in the Cobhasa School. School supplies will be distributed to the children of Cobhasa and Palomas. |

| Tuesday, August 7 |
| 100-200 pairs of shoes, Bibles, and school supplies will be distributed in Colonia Paredes. |
| |
| Wednesday, August 8 |
| Breakfast and farewells at the host church, Iglesia Central Cuadrangular. Team departs Honduras at 2:15pm (4:15pm EST) and arrive in NY at 11:59pm. |

Participating in a missions trip requires patience, endurance and teamwork...but most of all they require God's wisdom and guidance.
