LIVE Broadcasting
The purpose of LIVE Broadcasting is to visually enhance the worship service. People who attend our services, as well as parents who take their children to our nursery will not miss the live experience of the service, now that it is being broadcast live on our two large screens and nursery video monitor. Attendees and those with visual impediments can get a closer view of what is going on, experience different angles, and also view song lyrics while praise and worship is going on. Eventually, services will be recorded on DVD so that anyone who wants to view the service again or pass it on to someone else, can also get a copy.
Future goals include the streaming of our worship services online. Although nothing replaces the true fellowship of the saints, this technology will ultimately allow a broader audience (those who are disabled, infirm, or otherwise unable to attend) to experience praise and worship services at Solid Rock.
Media Projects
The purpose of Media Projects is to use video production to present the gospel in skits or other ways that help people understand and remember the message. Research shows that when people use more than one of their senses, they tend to remember more.
Skits and short film media projects may consist of different genres appropriate to sending out the desired message. Media projects may be displayed before, during, or after services, shown during drama productions, or shown online. Other media projects might be announcements or community service promos allowing people to see what is going on in church and how they can get involved. They can also serve as an outlet for other ministries who need to announce a special event or concern.
Mission Statement
The mission of the Video Ministry is to visually enhance the worship services, support the overall mission of Solid Rock and it's ministry teams with video production projects, and give people a different perspective on the Word of God through the visual arts. "66 books (of the bible) on a 66 inch screen".
Vision Statement
The Solid Rock Video Ministry exists to enhance and extend the reach of Solid Rock's ministry and message through video production and broadcast media.
